OK, it’s March already, and the time for new year’s resolutions is long past. But I’ve decided to be a friend to my blog – the poor thing has been dreadfully neglected. I’m going to start inviting some of my many brilliant author friends to guest for me – watch this space!
Until I get the first guest post up, I have an invitation for you. Alexa Gordon – Lexie – is the heroine of my new book, People We Love. She’s an artist, but she has put her career on hold to help her parents through a time of mourning. Lexie adores vintage clothes, partly because she admires the design of many clothes from past era, and partly because she loves to think about where the clothes might have been worn in the past and who might have worn them. So when an old lady climbs in through her kitchen window, the discovery they make together leads quite naturally to a life-changing realisation: shoes tell stories.
And so Lexie embarks on a journey that reopens her career and culminates in a very special art exhibition. Here is the invite.
Somewhere along the way, Lexie finds the path to her own future.
Why not join Lexie on her journey of discovery? Or join me here, and discover the writing path some great authors take?
Great idea, Jenny – love the sound of People We Love. And yes, I’d love to guest on your blog!
You’re welcome, Rosemary – I’ll be in touch.
Look forward to reading about Lexie, Jenny. And I’d like to guest on your blog too!
ThanksKate. I look forward to hosting you soon.
Looking forward to seeing your blog get some lovin’, Jenny. ‘People We Love’ sounds like a terrific read. 🙂
Thanks Dale! And thanks for dropping by.
